AI Workshops & Training
Businesses aren’t the same. Neither are our workshops.
Changeable delivers practical AI workshops and training shaped around your organisation, your people and the work you actually need to improve. We start with your context, then build the learning around the capability you want to develop.
Why customised training
Generic training is easy to deliver. Useful training needs context.
Two businesses can ask for an AI workshop and need completely different things. One may need its leadership team to understand risk and governance. Another may need to find better ways of working. A third may already be using AI and need help turning individual experimentation into something consistent across the business.
That is why Changeable does not start with a fixed slide deck. We start with what you are trying to achieve, who is taking part, what they already know and where the learning needs to be applied.
The subject, examples, activities, depth and delivery can then be shaped to suit the organisation.
Your business comes first
Examples and activities can be based on your own workflows, priorities, challenges, decisions and operating environment.
Learning needs an outcome
We agree what people should understand, decide or be able to do differently after the session.
Practice matters
Participants work through practical examples and activities rather than spending the session listening to theory.
Workshop and training areas
These are common starting points rather than fixed courses. Topics can be combined, narrowed or expanded depending on the capability your business needs to build.

Learn by doing
Understanding matters. Applying it matters more.
Changeable uses a practical learn-by-doing approach. New ideas are introduced in plain language, then participants apply them to examples, decisions or problems that make sense in their own business environment.
01 / Understand
Build the foundation
Explain the concepts clearly and establish a shared understanding without unnecessary technical language.
02 / Explore
Connect it to the business
Look at where the subject connects to the organisation, its people, systems, customers or priorities.
03 / Apply
Work through it
Use practical activities, examples, discussion and real business situations to put the learning into practice.
04 / Use
Take it back to work
Finish with practical actions, methods or decisions that participants can continue applying after the session.
Flexible delivery
The format should fit the learning, not the other way around.
Training can range from a focused session with one business owner through to leadership workshops and structured programmes delivered across several sessions.
One-to-one capability training
Focused training for an owner or senior manager where the learning can be built directly around a specific business need, challenge or opportunity.
Leadership and management workshops
Structured sessions that help leaders develop a shared understanding, work through decisions and agree how the organisation should move forward.
Small group workshops
Practical group learning where participants can explore common challenges, work through activities and learn from different business perspectives.
Multi-session programmes
Where capability needs more than one workshop, learning can be structured across several sessions with practical application between each stage.
In-person delivery
Workshops can be delivered on-site or in an agreed venue, particularly where discussion, group work and practical activities benefit from being in the room together.
Online delivery
Remote sessions can be used for businesses across New Zealand, with the same focus on discussion, practical application and participation.
What people leave with
Training should change what happens after the workshop.
The exact outputs depend on the subject and organisation, but every session is designed around practical capability rather than attendance alone.
A clearer understanding
Enough knowledge to make better decisions about the subject without needing to become a technical specialist.
Practical methods
Approaches, frameworks, questions and ways of thinking that can be reused after the training has finished.
Application to the real business
Learning connected to actual processes, opportunities, decisions, customers or management challenges wherever appropriate.
Clearer priorities
A better understanding of what matters now, what needs more investigation and what may not be worth pursuing.
Something to take forward
Depending on the session, this may include agreed actions, working notes, templates, priorities, principles or a practical next-step plan.

Who this is for
Practical capability for people responsible for the business.
Training is designed primarily for business owners, managers, leaders and people responsible for decisions, systems, operations, innovation or change.
Business owners who want to understand AI properly
For owners who need enough practical understanding to decide where AI may help, what the risks are and where to focus first.
Leadership teams developing a shared approach
For organisations where different people have different levels of AI knowledge and leadership needs a common understanding and direction.
Businesses trying to improve how work gets done
For managers dealing with manual processes, duplication, disconnected systems, unclear workflows or increasing operational complexity.
Organisations moving from experimentation to adoption
For businesses already using AI informally that now need clearer practices, governance, priorities and management capability.
Businesses facing a specific capability gap
If the need does not fit neatly into one of the workshop areas above, the training can be shaped around the particular challenge, subject and desired outcome.
Questions
Common questions about Changeable workshops and training.
The starting point is the capability your business needs, not a predefined course format.
Are the workshops fixed programmes?
No. The areas shown on this page are common starting points. Content, examples, activities, depth and delivery can be adjusted to suit the business, participants and learning outcome.
Can different topics be combined?
Yes. AI adoption often overlaps with process improvement, governance, business systems, innovation and change. A workshop or programme can bring together the areas that make sense for your organisation.
Is the training technical?
It does not need to be. Most Changeable training is designed for business owners, managers and leaders. Technical concepts can be explained where useful, but the focus is on practical business understanding and application.
Do you train people on specific AI tools?
Specific tools can be used as examples where they help the learning, but the training is normally built around the business capability first. That keeps the learning useful even as individual AI products and features change.
Can you use examples from our own business?
Yes. Where appropriate, workshops can use real processes, scenarios, decisions or business challenges so participants are applying the learning to something relevant rather than working through generic exercises.
Can training be delivered online?
Yes. Training can be delivered online or in person depending on the organisation, location, participant group and type of learning involved.
How long is a workshop?
There is no single format. Some capability needs can be addressed in a focused session. Others are better suited to a longer workshop or several sessions with practical application between them. We agree the approach once the outcome and context are clear.
Need a workshop that fits your business rather than someone else’s?
Tell us what you are trying to improve, who the training is for and what you want people to be able to do differently. We can shape the right approach from there.
